How Do I Add An Order?

Adding an Order is for those orders that you take over the phone or in person.  If the order is coming from the web, then it will fill out correctly, and you will only need to input any monetary transactions.

 

1.  Go into the ECS program
2.  Type in your R/A and Password (for new users that is NEW and NEW)

3.  Once in double click on the Order Icon (looks like a scroll)

4.  To add the order click on the + button.

5.  A blank form will come up.

6.  Enter in the Customer's Name or Phone Number
7.  The date they would like the arrangement sent or today's date. (You can also press Ctrl^D to see the date box)

8.  Type in the category name (ie, Birthday, Get Well, Custom, Counter)

9.  Then a box will come up with arrangements.  You can select either criteria using the drop down boxes at the top.

10.  To see a photo of the product press your Ctrl and P keys. (press any key to have the image go away)

11.  When you choose the product you will see the different cookie sizes on your left, choose the correct cookie number

12.  Then press Add.
13.  You will see two lines in the grid, one is the product name, and one is the number of cookies shown.
14.  If you need to add another product, then you can click on the blank line in the grid and press Ctrl ^ D and the cookie arrangement box will appear again.
15.  The description of the product will go into the description box, then you have a blank box for Special Instructions and for the Message Card.
16.  Then enter in the Zip Code.
17.  Based on the Zip Code you will either see the options of Hand Delivery and Pick Up  or the other shipping methods such as Overnight, two day, general.  You can set these prices by going to Utility and then to the Operational Control Record.

18.  If you choose a Hand Delivery it will ask if you would like to add Balloons.  You can Say Yes or No.  If you choose Yes, then a box will appear and you can choose your Balloons.

 

19.  Be sure to input the SLSM (Salesman or person taking the order)

20.  Then You can go to the Billing/Shipping Tab.

21.  Fill out the information.

22.  Next click on the Money tab (3rd one down)
23.  You'll see that it fills out the correct dollar amount for the delivery price

24.  Then enter the payment method, if cash or check put in the amount they paid, then press the cash drawer.

25.  You can either print the invoice or print the order instructions.

 

26.  And that is how you add an order.
